Our purpose is to provide free building financial capability services within the Manawatu region. Our Vision is: "We empower the Manawatu community to be moneywise". Our Mission is: "We are dedicated to the development of family budgeting skills through free, supportive, confidential and culturally aware services." The Objects of the Service is to provide free, confidential financial mentoring services within New Zealand. While the Service will in general be operated within the Manawatu area, it may be extended beyond this area by the Governance Committee. The Service will a) Provide budgeting information, advice and assistance to families, individuals, community groups and other bodies on request; b) Educate, inform and encourage clients of the Service in the effective management of their incomes to meet financial commitments, cope with regular living costs, and reduce debt.
